About

Alec is a self taught mosaic artist lucky enough to be based in the beautiful county of Cornwall.

​

Working in multi media mosaics Alec uses picassiette styles of old crockery combined with modern ceramics and glass tiles to create his own unique blend of colourful canvases, statuettes and household/garden features.

Often included are trinkets, jewellery and object d'art that would otherwise be discarded in a throw away world.

 

Alec also makes his own ceramic & glass tiles and runs community days for the public to make with many included in future mosaics.  ​
